EstimateGo ("EstimateGo", "we", "us") provides software that helps contractors create quotes and invoices. This Privacy Policy applies to our website and application. By using EstimateGo you agree to the practices described here.

We collect information you give us directly, information created as you use the product, and limited technical information sent automatically by your browser or device, such as browser type, approximate region, and timestamps.

This includes anything you type into EstimateGo: account details, business details, customer records, job descriptions, pricing, and messages you send to our support team.

When you create an account we may process your name, email address, and authentication credentials. Passwords, where used, are handled using industry-standard practices and are not stored in readable form.

Business name, trade, address, phone number, country, currency, default labour rate, tax rate, and terms are used to populate the documents you produce and to configure your workspace.

Quotes and invoices may contain details about your customers, including names, contact details, and project addresses. You are the controller of that customer information and are responsible for having an appropriate basis to process it.

You can attach job photos (for example, before-and-after pictures) to quotes and invoices. Uploaded images are stored in private storage linked to your account. They are never published at a public web address; they are shown only to you through short-lived secure links, and in the PDFs you choose to generate and share.

Only upload images you own or have permission to use. Avoid photos that show people, vehicle number plates, documents, or other identifying details unless you have the consent of the people involved. Deleting a quote or invoice removes its photos from your workspace, subject to short backup periods.

When you send a quote or invoice by WhatsApp, email, SMS, or as a downloaded PDF, the file is shared through the app or service you choose. Once shared, the recipient and that service handle it under their own terms, and we cannot recall or delete copies.

Where laws such as the UK or EU GDPR apply, we process information to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the product), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time.

We use information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain the service;
• generate the quotes, invoices and PDFs you create;
• respond to support requests;
• improve product reliability, usability and performance;
• detect, prevent and address misuse or technical problems;
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Depending on how you use EstimateGo, information may be stored locally in your browser, or on infrastructure operated by us or our hosting providers. Where data is stored on servers, we use reputable providers and restrict access to those who need it.

We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse — including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we do not claim that a breach is impossible. If a breach affects you, we will act promptly and notify you where required by law.

Your account, profile, quotes, invoices, and photos are stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by our hosting and database partners, protected by access rules so that each account can only access its own records. Your browser also keeps a small amount of data, such as your sign-in session and preferences, on your device.

We may send service messages relating to your account, security, or important changes. Where we send optional product updates, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

We use third parties for functions such as website hosting, database and file storage, user authentication, and email delivery (for example, verification and password-reset emails). These providers process information only as needed to perform their services for us. EstimateGo may also link to third-party sites, which are governed by their own policies.

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms that are necessary for the product to function and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site profiling. Your browser settings let you control cookie behaviour, though blocking essential cookies may affect functionality.

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

You can delete quotes, invoices, and workspace content from within the product. To request deletion of your account and associated information, contact us at rivosagroup@gmail.com. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at rivosagroup@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

EstimateGo is available to contractors worldwide. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data protection rules. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

EstimateGo is intended for business use by adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the product and legal requirements evolve. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where reasonable.
