Terms of Service
These terms set out what you can expect from EstimateGo and what we ask of you in return. Please read them before using the service.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using EstimateGo you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using EstimateGo on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
02Description of Service
EstimateGo is software that helps contractors prepare quotes, convert accepted quotes into invoices, generate PDF documents, and keep track of their pricing defaults. EstimateGo is a tool; it does not perform the work, set your prices, or manage your customer relationships.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding agreement to use EstimateGo. The service is intended for business and professional use.
04User Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
05Business Information
Business details you enter — including name, address, contact details, tax rate, labour rate and terms — appear on the documents you produce. You are responsible for ensuring they are correct and lawful in your jurisdiction.
06Quotes and Invoices
Documents created with EstimateGo are your documents. You decide the pricing, margins, taxes and terms. EstimateGo calculates totals from the values you enter, but you remain responsible for reviewing every document before sending it to a customer.
07User Responsibilities
You remain responsible for your pricing, quotes, invoices, taxes, contracts, payment collection, and customer relationships. EstimateGo does not guarantee that a customer will accept a quote, sign a contract, or pay an invoice.
08Accuracy of Information
Calculations depend entirely on the figures you provide. We take care to compute totals correctly, but we cannot verify that your rates, quantities, tax settings, or descriptions are appropriate for a particular job or jurisdiction.
09Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use EstimateGo for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access;
- upload content that infringes the rights of others;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
10Your Content and Uploaded Images
You are solely responsible for all content you add, including customer details, prices, and photos. You confirm you have the rights and any permissions or consents needed to upload and share it. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, explicit, or that contains other people's personal information without a lawful basis. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
11Taxes, Pricing and Compliance
EstimateGo calculates totals from the figures, discounts and tax rates you enter. You are responsible for checking every document before sending it, and for meeting the tax, invoicing, licensing, and consumer-protection rules that apply to your business. Any agreement you make with your customers is between you and them; we are not a party to it.
12Fees
EstimateGo is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will tell you in advance and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
13Backups and Data Loss
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents, for example by downloading PDFs. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost or corrupted content.
14Intellectual Property
EstimateGo, including its software, design, and branding, remains our property. You keep ownership of the content you enter and the documents you generate, and you grant us the limited licence needed to host and display that content so the service can function.
15Third-Party Services
EstimateGo may rely on or link to third-party services such as hosting and email providers. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.
16Service Availability
We work to keep EstimateGo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, provider outages, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
17No Professional, Legal or Financial Guarantee
EstimateGo is not a substitute for professional legal, tax, accounting, construction, or financial advice. Tax rates, contract wording, and compliance requirements differ by location. Consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
18Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, EstimateGo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost data arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
19Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Statutory rights that apply to you are not affected.
20Indemnification
You agree to indemnify EstimateGo against reasonable claims, losses and costs arising from your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or content you enter that infringes the rights of a third party.
21Suspension or Termination
You may stop using EstimateGo at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where it is reasonably necessary — for example, in cases of misuse, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirement — and will give notice where practical.
22Changes to the Service
We continue to develop EstimateGo and may add, modify, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. Where a change materially reduces core functionality, we will aim to give advance notice.
23Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
24Governing Law / Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer or local laws apply to you, those protections continue to apply.
